Job Description:

Our client is a premier stone fabrication and installation company specializing in countertop production for custom residential, multi-family residential, and commercial markets. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and service, all production is completed in-house, and installations are handled by dedicated teams. Recent growth has led to the opening of a state-of-the-art 13,000 sq. ft. production facility equipped with two bridge saws, two CNC work centers, and a line polisher.

About the Role: The Senior Estimator plays a critical role in the Business Development team by delivering accurate and competitive cost estimates for custom stone countertop and backsplash fabrication projects. This role involves conducting detailed take-offs for both custom single-family homes and multi-family developments, collaborating with designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure precise calculations. The Senior Estimator’s expertise will contribute directly to project success, profitability, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed take-offs from architectural drawings using AutoCAD or Bluebeam. Accurately estimate material, labor, and installation costs for stone countertops and backsplashes. Prepare and submit bids and proposals for residential and commercial projects. Obtain and validate material pricing from suppliers. Collaborate with sales, project management, and production teams to refine and optimize estimates. Leverage software tools like AutoCAD and Bluebeam to ensure precise measurements and proposals. Ensure all estimates align with client specifications, budgets, and project timelines. Stay updated on industry trends, material innovations, and cost fluctuations.

Qualifications: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam for take-offs and project analysis. In-depth knowledge of countertop fabrication techniques, including mitered edges, sink and faucet cutouts, and waterfall designs. A minimum of 2 years of estimating experience in the stone fabrication or construction industry. Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail. Proven ability to manage multiple bids and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
