Reporting to the Credit Manager, as the Credit Assistant you will maintain good relationships with clients while monitoring their creditworthiness. You also monitor accounts receivable and liaise with clients to ensure accounts are kept current.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Utilizing proper procedures and enforcing policies for credits and payment collections.
• Preparing, reviewing and analyzing accounts receivable aging reports.
• Processing payments made via credit cards and creating new credit and cash accounts in the system.
• Monitoring receipt and record of cheque payments.
• Processing credit applications, and conducting due diligence such as contacting references, submitting bank inquiries, doing web research, and checking registry reports.
• Maintaining complete and accurate account information in the database and on file.
• Conducting account reviews and corresponding with customers regarding changes in their status.
• Processing and sending customer statements and following up on inquiries as required.
• Monitoring and expediting payments from customers to ensure payments are fully received.
• Following up with collection of delinquent accounts. Maintaining effective dialogue and liaising with Collection Agencies and Lawyers to successfully collect delinquent accounts.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Regional Sales Manager will lead and develop the sales team within their assigned territory. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, maintaining key customer relationships, and ensuring the company's strong presence in the market.

Responsibilities

• Provide proposals and process sales ensuring all processes and deadlines are met
• Support Account Managers in preparing proposals, communicating with customers, and coordinating jobs
• Design layouts for proposals using Mitek software
• Communicate with Designers as required to resolve any layout concerns
• Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing Focused, on ways to improve our business daily
• Maintain a positive relationship with all staff, clients and industry partners using good communication skills

 Qualifications 

• Ability to accurately read and interpret construction drawings
• Strong mathematical skills with high degree of accuracy
• Knowledge of Mitek Design Programs would be considered an asset
• Experience in Residential and/or Commercial Construction is preferable
• Basic engineering design and principals
• Understanding of Manufacturing technology, especially related to wood, truss and building manufacturing
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Training in Architectural Drafting, Structural Engineering, or Construction Management would be considered an asset

Reporting to the Construction Manager, as the Field Supervisor you will manage employees, contractors, and suppliers on site, to ensure construction of homes follows established designs, quality standards, budgets and schedules.

Reporting to the Design Manager, as the Advanced Wall Panel Designer you are responsible for creating the structural framework that support the walls in buildings in accordance with architectural drawings. You use architectural drawings and building codes to optimize the design of wall panels for production.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Working on and understanding complete complex structures and the process of architectural, structural, and mechanical consultants. Working with third parties or consultants
• Maintaining high level of organization, documenting projects, managing project costing, and generating RFI’s.
• Complete projects within multiple technical disciplines of wall panels for complex structures.
• Managing design work schedule to ensure jobs are completed on time.
• Creating computer models using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Reviewing and interpreting customer-supplied documents, such as blueprints or drawings, to identify if any areas require clarification.
• Completing fabrication ready designs for residential home structures.
• Implementing design changes and communicating with other related departments to ensure designs are accurate and consistent.
• Reviewing constructability of the projects and identifying opportunities for value engineering.
• Preparing fabrication packages for production department, and site packages for installers.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, as the Assistant Site Superintendent you will oversee on-site construction activities and assist in ensuring construction follows established design and quality. You also enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing on-site construction of new homes throughout the building process.
• Promoting a safe work environment and ensuring all employees and trades work in a safe manner and follow Qualico’s Safety program and relevant safety legislation.
• Liaising and maintaining positive relationships with trade partners and suppliers.

Work Conditions

You primarily work on-site during regular business hours. • Operating a diesel, electric or propane powered forklift to safely move goods.
• Assembling customer orders, shrink wrapping and packing to ensure proper packages for delivery. Inspecting and verifying finished shipping packages for accuracy and quality.
• Checking order lists, verifying product accuracy when loading and unloading shipments, and ensuring all documents are verified and forwarded. Indicating any products that are to be back ordered.

Reporting to the Production Manager, as the Construction Labourer you will perform general labour activities and basic carpentry tasks on construction job sites. You also assist in ensuring cleanliness and organization of the construction site. Maintaining cleanliness of construction sites. Ensuring proper disposal of waste and scrap materials. Collecting excess materials or supplies and transporting to storage facility. Maintaining organization of the storage facility. Co-ordinating pick up of materials for return to suppliers and preparing site for sub-trades including floor cleaning in preparation for flooring installation. Completing basic carpentry tasks, and supporting onsite team members or trades with construction activities. Complying with Qualico’s Safety Program and relevant safety legislation.
