Dear WRLA members,

While there hasn’t been an official announcement, recent activities by the three major party leaders are pointing to an upcoming federal election and we should be prepared to go to the polls early.

In preparation for this, we are reaching out to our membership to seek input on whether there are issues or topics that you would like to see the WRLA put forward to the federal parties for their platform considerations or if there are areas where you feel the industry needs support.

There is no time like the present for business leaders in the industry to speak up to ensure the health and well being of their businesses, customers and communities.

As an industry, we were fortunate to be deemed essential. We witnessed so many other businesses face closures and ultimately some were unable to survive. But just because we were deemed essential and will benefit from the Canada Greener Homes Grant as an example, doesn’t meant that our job is done and that we can sail off into the sunset.

As an Association we are here to ensure the best interest of our members are represented and we need to continue working collaboratively with members and all levels of government to help ensure the betterment of our industry and the communities we serve.

We have prepared a two-question survey where you can provide the WRLA with feedback, please be sure to include your email address in case we need to follow up for clarity. To participate in the survey, click here.

We thank you for your time and feedback and look forward to hearing from you! In the meantime feel free to reach out to discuss this or any other issues.

Best regards,

Liz Kovach
