Job Description:

Reporting to the Construction Manager, as the Intermediate Architectural Technologist you will create designs and drawings to facilitate the construction of new homes. You also provide technical information and knowledge that supports profitable business decisions.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: • Completing architectural house drawings, including engineering and structural certifications as well as final architectural approval from the developer’s consultants. • Understanding and ensuring architectural and structural requirements, elements, building codes and bylaws are followed. • Completing documentation packages for permit submissions to the designated municipality. • Maintaining model plan library. • Creating new house designs including elevations, layouts, and new product development. • Gathering lot marketing, zoning, and grading information and create site plans and apply for building permits.
