Job Description:

Reporting to the Director, Operations, as the Assistant Site Superintendent you will oversee on-site construction activities and assist in ensuring construction follows established design and quality. You also enforce compliance with health and safety regulations.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: • Overseeing on-site construction of new homes throughout the building process. • Promoting a safe work environment and ensuring all employees and trades work in a safe manner and follow Qualico’s Safety program and relevant safety legislation. • Liaising and maintaining positive relationships with trade partners and suppliers. • Monitoring work to ensure it meets Qualico’s standards and all building and safety code requirements. • Completing required repairs and handling general deficiencies. • Assisting in monitoring the project progress and schedules. Completing regular progress reports, checklists, logbook entries and other reports. • Supervising and providing guidance to on-site team members.
