Job Description:

Roof and Floor Truss Sales Representative Alberta (Calgary or Edmonton preferred)

Base Salary + Commission + Profit Sharing

The Roof and Floor Truss Sales Representative, reporting to the Sales Manager, is responsible for selling building products, namely roof truss systems, and engineered floor systems to residential, commercial, multi-family or agriculture clients. Our ideal candidate is an experienced and connected salesperson who knows the Alberta wood building industry; someone who is seeking to drive real results and get paid for performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Generate sales.

Identify new customers, manage a prospect list, make cold calls, convert business.

Prepare proposals and process orders/contracts.

With our Design Team bring customers solutions to enable them to Build with Confidence.

Prepare weekly sales reports and work within our sales team to develop and execute winning strategies to surpass sales targets.

 

Job Requirements - Core Competencies:

Professional sales experience with residential, commercial, multi-family, or agriculture.

Excellent customer service skills.

Onsite construction experience, and or an understanding of construction methods.

Strong understanding of common building practices, building codes, and the ability to read blueprints.

Professional level written and verbal communication skills.

Familiar with industry software like the Mitek suite including: Management, Structure, and Engineering would be an asset.

Experience with estimating software is considered an asset.

Competent with Microsoft 365.

Organized and self-motivated.
