Advocating for the Industry
The WRLA helps members build better businesses through advocacy efforts. If we want affordable housing for all, we need building supply. If we want good jobs for new Canadians, we need building supply. If we want environmental sustainability, we need building supply.
We are committed to representing our members’ needs at all levels of government, influencing policy,
protecting members’ interests, and providing access to resources and education for members.
The WRLA regularly meets with politicians at all levels of government on favourable policies to represent the industry, monitor legislative developments, and provide timely advocacy bulletin updates to members. WRLA is the place for members to discuss policies that impact them and address pain points collaboratively; Ensuring our advocacy efforts are informed by member needs. Together that we’ll shape the future of the industry.
