Job Description:

Swan Valley Co-op is hiring a Home Centre Manager at our Home and Building location in The Pas, MB.

What you’ll do:

The successful candidate is responsible for the operation of the Home & Building Solutions store located in The Pas, MB including human resources; asset protection; customer service; administrative duties and merchandising.

 

Core duties will include, but are not limited to:

Participate in the development of budget goals and lead the achievement of financial results in the areas of sales margins, inventory control, expenses and profits within established timelines.

Provide periodic inventory counts as required.

Participate in the creation of department goals as they relate to Corporate Performance Management (CPM).

Responsible for the management, maintenance, and security of the store location and property while providing operational direction and oversight in the implementation of programs and policies.

Responsible for building strong customer relationships and delivering solutions and to oversee and monitor client satisfaction levels, ensure customer issues are resolved, and identify areas for improvement.

Provide leadership to the team, including recruitment, goal setting, performance management, training, and development of team members including providing daily direction.

Oversee adherence to brand and merchandising standards, marketing activity, inventory rotation, pricing accuracy and cleanliness of the location.

Oversee the execution and follow through of all safety and environmental policies and procedures and ensure standards are achieved while being responsible for coordination and oversight of all safety, maintenance, and asset protection policies.

 

Who you are:

Looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

Possess a post secondary education (would be considered an asset).

5+ years of retail management experience or related leadership experience.

Previous leadership experience.
