Role Overview:

The Territory Sales Representative will play a pivotal role in developing sales opportunities within the Vancouver region for commercial roofing, rigid and semi-rigid insulation, and a diverse range of building materials. This role requires a self-motivated individual focused on building and nurturing relationships. The successful candidate will travel across BC as required, leveraging existing client connections and fostering new relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving demand through the local distribution network,
• Collaborating with the team to devise an expansion strategy, and ensuring efficient regional service.
• Engaging directly with clients, such as commercial general contractors, distribution centers, architects, and designers, to offer exceptional products and service is integral to this role.

Candidate Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in an outside sales role, preferably with an established network in Ontario.
• Essential knowledge of insulation product lines and installation practices.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings.
• Comfortable with cold-calling, possessing both hunter and farmer sales mentalities while working towards targets.
• Excellent professional presentation with exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and a genuine interest in the building materials business.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Compensation:

• Salary: $60,000 to $100,000 per year plus monthly commission.
