About the Role:

Our client is seeking an outgoing and inspired Territory Sales Representative to support the growth of their business in Alberta and BC. The Territory Sales Rep will play a crucial role in driving growth and building strong relationships with our client’s dealer partners, builders, architects, designers, and distribution partners.

 

Responsibilities will include:

Developing and executing sales strategies, maintaining and expanding the customer base, and using company marketing initiatives and CRM data to connect with prospects.

The TSR will provide in-field training to customers, provide key product questions, and deliver regular feedback to management.

This role requires travel throughout the territory and occasional overnight, evening, and weekend commitments (trade shows, etc).

 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute sales strategies to increase business and exceed quarterly goals.

Cultivate new customer relationships and generate brand awareness.

Maintain and grow existing customer base.

Engage dealers and end-user customers to enhance collaboration and customer expansion.

Make regular joint sales calls with distributor representatives on target accounts.

Provide in-field training and presentations in various settings.

Communicate effectively with inside sales and customer service support teams.

Stay up-to-date with our client’s product offerings and market conditions.

 

About the Candidate:

Highly driven and professional with a strong sales background.

Experience managing a region of customers through in-person meetings and regular correspondence.

Building materials experience would be advantageous but is not required.

Our client has a strong willingness to train individuals with the right transferrable skillsets, attitude and prior territorial management experience, regardless of product.

Strong organizational, time management, and scheduling skills.

Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce or similar) and common office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
