About Carolyn Scissons:
Carolyn Scissons is a Fractional CFO and founder of the Finance Learning Lab. She is passionate about helping accountants grow in their career and brining about process improvements that make month end processes – and lives – work better. She also teaches management accounting and financial reporting at the University of Calgary and SAIT. Her education includes a CPA, CMA, MBA, PMP and CIA designation. Carolyn’s teaching style is engaging and hands-on so you can expect that we will dive deeply into the unique challenges you are facing and engage in activities to build a practical toolbox that you can apply in your day-to-day work. Outside of work, she loves to travel and recently took a business trip to Hong Kong where she "unintentionally" ate pigeon thinking it was chicken.
